Artsakh products presented at the Harvest Festival of Rural Life and Traditions

At the joint initiative of the “Green Lane” NGO, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Municipality of Yerevan, the 6th Harvest Festival of Rural Life and Traditions was held in Yerevan September 14-15.

In an interview with "Artsakhpress", the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh, Hamlet Apresyan noted that with their support, for the first time the "Rapeseed" oil, "Artsakhkat" dairy products and "Vasavi Product" herbal tea companies participated in the festival.

Since 2018, the representatives of “Haterk Food” and the Talish Farmers Group have also been applying for individual participation in the festival.

According to Apresyan, the festival is a unique platform where farmers, producers, processors and investors can meet, exchange experiences; it provides opportunities for further collaboration.


“Consumers were very interested in the Artsakh pavilions. They were especially impressed with “Rapeseed” oil and jengyalov hats,” said Apresyan.

We introduced to consumers the chocolate honey, which is used both as sweets and as a facial rejuvenating cream; jengyalov hats. We have also presented several types of honey.
Booklets on historical and cultural sites of Artsakh were also distributed to the participants of the festival,” he said.

Hamlet Apresyan thanked the Ministry of Agriculture of Artsakh for their support.


The festival was accompanied by a concert program with the participation of renowned singers, musicians and cultural groups.
