STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 20,  ARTSAKHPRESS: Gérard is known for being one of filmmaker Claude Lelouch’s favorite actors. Gérard has appeared in about 20 films of Lelouch.

Also, he was a close friend of renowned French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, with whom he used train boxing in his youth. During one such training session, Belmondo had accidentally broken Gerard’s nose, which later became a unique “calling card” for the actor.
