STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 22,  ARTSAKHPRESS: Former Prime Minister and State Minister of the Artsakh Republic, the leader of the “Free Homeland” Party Arayik Harutyunyan stated the aforesaid at a party event organized in the Dismayri community’s pine park, Kashatagh region; the park is considered the only one in the Caucasus.

"I have been thinking for a long time how to perpetuate the memory of our soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Artsakh war.

I had different ideas, but the idea that has recently emerged is the establishment of a new pine park. As no stone building can have as long life as a pine tree,” he said in particular.

Arayik Harutyunyan noted that the park will be established in the northern part of Kashatagh, near the Tsitsernavank monastery, which, in addition to the climatic conditions, will have a symbolic meaning in terms of making our unbreakable connection with Motherland stronger.

“We plan to start the tree planting works on April 2, 2020.  In memory of each fallen freedom fighter, the nominal planting will be performed by a representative of his family,” said Arayik Harutyunyan.
