As a part of the tobacco complex program, 35 hectares of land have been cultivated this year by the Masis Tobacco Company in the Ishkhanadzor community of Kashatagh region.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 24, ARTSAKHPRESS: In an interview with “Artsakhpress” Hayrapet Petrosyan, Ishkhanadzor district technologist noted that 47 tonnes of cigarette leaves have been stored up. Works are underway.
"In general, works are planned to be completed by mid-November. The total number of cabins in the dryer are 16, which enables to cultivate up to 50 hectares of cigarettes,” said Petrosyan.
According to the district official, there are 22 tobacco workers from Ishkhanadzor and neighboring villages. 17 people work in the dryer. Our interlocutor noted that next year volumes may increase.
Arsen Telunts, the head of the Ishkhanadzor community, told noted that the project provides people with jobs.
