Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is highlighting the US House of Representatives passage of the Armenian Genocide resolution in terms of establishing justice.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 1, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: “This is highly important both in terms of establishing justice for the Armenian people, and in a broader sense this is rather important also in the processes of preventing such crimes,” Mnatsakanyan told reporters in parliament today.
He said the adoption of the resolution is also important for the Armenian-American community.
“We have millions of compatriots living in the United States, and this is very significant for them because they are citizens of the US and are contributing to this country’s successes, this resolution justified our compatriots’ expectations,” he said.
On October 29 the US House of Representatives adopted the Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.296) by a vote of 405 to 11 with 3 voting present.
