STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 18, ARTSAKHPRESS: Arayik Harutyunyan, former Prime Minister of Artsakh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shushi Technological University and Candidate of Technical Sciences, presented the high rates of economic growth registered in Artsakh in recent years, touching upon the key points of the economic revolution.

“Throughout the history of mankind, there have been several phases to the economic revolution. In our country, it is primarily associated with high rates of economic growth. I should note that during the last 12 years, high rates of economic growth have been registered in Artsakh, and as of today the steps of economic development are continuous,” said Harutyunyan.

According to him, the result of the economic revolution should be the provision of high rates of continuous economic growth, and in recent years, in Artsakh the greatest result has been registered in the sphere of energy.
Arayik Harutyunyan is confident that a good governance model will ensure lasting high rates of economic growth.

Arthur Javadyan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, thinks that today there are various developments in the world economic markets. Arthur Javadyan noted with regret that the economy often follows politics.
Mher Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Union of Commercial Banks of Armenia and Chairman of the Management Board of IDBank, considers that the economic revolution first of all is the change of people’s minds.
During the training, the speakers also answered a number of questions raised by the students.

At the end of the event, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Arthur Javadyan was handed a letter of gratitude for sharing his knowledge at the "Future Begins Today" Pan-Armenian Student Forum.
