Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunan visited "Honey House Artsakh" honey production factory in the Vanq village of the Martakert region and got acquainted with the working conditions, the Presidential Office stated.

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 1, ARTSAKHPRESS: The goal of the company founded with state assistance is to develop beekeeping in Artsakh, produce eco-friendly and high-quality honey, find markets abroad as well and include in the beekeeping programs predominantly the retired officers.
The responsible officials of the company introduced to the President the registered achievements, particularly their international certificate on the product quality, the existing demand and the first successful cooperation with 25 beekeepers.
The Head of the State considered important the company's activity, noting that apiculture has large perspectives in Artsakh, and the Government will realize new projects for developing the branch. According to Arayik Harutyunyan both retired officers and all interested people will be included in the program.
Artsakh Republic Minister of agriculture Ashot Bakhshiyan accompanied the President.
