STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 6, ARTSAKHPRESS: "Maybe the aides of the president of Azerbaijan showed him other people's materials, or presented their own comments," the source added.

The source also reminded the exact quote from Lavrov's interview with Kommersant newspaper on November 3, and added: "As you can see, there is no reproach in the comments, either on Azerbaijan, or on any other country," the TASS interlocutor continued. "It’s about our extreme concern over the entry of mercenary militants into the Transcaucasian region, whose immediate neighbor is the Russian Federation. In this regard, we would ask our Azerbaijani friends to be more careful when getting acquainted with the sources."

The agency's interlocutor noted that Russia has always been very cautious in its role as a mediator in conflicts that are very sensitive for neighboring countries. "We reaffirm our commitment to a peaceful, political, and diplomatic settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. At the same time, we remain convinced that the infiltration of mercenary militants into Transcaucasia threatens the stability and security of all countries in the region, including of Azerbaijan and Russia," the interlocutor concluded.
