Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Anatoly Sidorov, has dismissed the reports about Armenia’s withdrawing from this organization.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 16, ARTSAKHPRESS: During the telecast, Sidorov, answering the question about Armenia's non-participation in the CSTO military exercises, noted that "the wise heads of the country will find the means to resolve the difficulties that Armenia is facing."
According to Sidorov, there has been no official statement from the Armenian leadership about withdrawing from the CSTO, news.am informs.
"I have not personally seen any statement, any document that Armenia is leaving the CSTO. Well, the participation is a little limited; well, any situation can be created. We do not discuss decisions about participation in the CSTO military exercises," Sidorov said.
He added that Armenia participates in the CSTO law-making activities and funds the activities of this organization.
"The rumors that the CSTO has lost interest in the Transcaucasian region do not correspond to reality," emphasized the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
