On July 15, the Mass Media of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh informed Artsakhpress that from 45. 416 hectares sowing areas for grain harvest only 40 thousand 729 hectares have been reaped, adding that the gross yield amounted to 110 thousand 689 tons, while the average yield is 27.2 quintals per hectare, as compared to 10.1 quintals per hectare of the previous year.
High rates of crop yield in Artsakh
STEPANAKERT, JULY 15, ARTSAKHPRESS: "Overall they gave 21 thousand 640 hectares of wheat, 17 thousand 749 hectares of barley, as well as 1338 hectares spelt."
The gross grain yield amounted to 61 thousand 394 tons, while the average yield is 28.4 quintals per hectare as compared to 11,4 quintals per hectare of the previous year. The average yield of 45 thousand 697 tons barley accounted to 25.7 quintals per hectare as compared to last year’s 8.4 quintals per hectare.
Spelt gross yield is 3598 tons; the average yield is 26.9 quintals per hectare.
