Today at Grigor Narekatsi University‘s conference hall took place the NKR President spokesman, politician and candidate of historical sciences David Babayan’s book presentaion, entitled “The Role and Place of the Armenian Plateau in Biblical Geopolitics”.

STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 17, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Chairman of the Artsakh's Writers Union Vardan Hakobyan mentioned that Babayan’s book is rich in peculiar formulations, conceptual approaches and conclusions. Hakobyan stressed the importance of the scientific novelty of Babayan’s research.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan noted that the book’s ideological and spiritual peculiarities are very important, because such researches put forward historical truth.
The hero of Artsakh, writer and publicist Zori Balayan in his speech noted that the book “The Role and Place of the Armenian Plateau in Biblical Geopolitics” is an appropriate response to the Azerbaijani-Turkish false arguments, adding that factually adopted “Armenian Highland" place name is not always worthily used, so Babayan’s book is very important. The book has new perspectives to respond to false and fraud arguments by factual facts.
Babayan thanked the participants for expressing ideas and opinions about the "Armenian Highland role in the Geopolitics of the Bible's,” noting the expressed ideas oblige him to continue the work.
"The Armenian nation has great potential and belief in God. Even in difficult circumstances, our people managed not only survive, but also prosper and move forward," said Babayan.
At the end of the book’s presentation Vardan Hakobyan informed that the Artsakh Union of Writers decided to admit Babayan to the Union of Writers.
The research reviews sacral and civilizational significance of the Armenian Highland for many nations and religious. Mythological, religious and historical narratives and facts related to this region are presented and analyzed in the book.
Conclusions about the significance of the Armenian Highland from those perspectives in ideological and practical dimensions are presented in the research too.
