FIFA: Armenia climb 5 places

The International Federation of Association Football on Thursday issued its new World Ranking. Accordingly, the Armenian national squad have jumped five spots and are 36th in the new ranking, with 648 points.

The squad’s former 30th ranking was record-breaking for Armenia. But there is no change in the top three. Newly crowned 2014 FIFA World Cup champions Germany are in first place in the new FIFA World Ranking. They are followed by World Cup runners-up Argentina, and bronze medalists, the Netherlands, respectively.
