The Moscow City Court did not change the decision on putting Levon Hayrapetyan under arrest, who is accused of wasting and laundering money obtained in illegal way. As “Artsakhpress” reports, the Moscow City Court decision states: “Leave the Basmanny court’s decision on Levon Hayrapetyan’s arrest as a impediment measure unchanged, and leave the defense’ application without satisfaction”. After the session Hayrapetyan’s lawyer Henry Reznik considered the Court’s decision “flagrant”.

As “Itar- Tass” reports, Reznik stated: “He is charged with an article according to which one can’t be put under arrest (RF Criminal Code 174.1), so it a flagrant violation.” Previously it was reported that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation arrested Russia-resident rich Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan. As reports “Armenpress” citing “Rosbalt”, Levon Hayrapetyan was detained on July 15 in Domodedovo Airport, where the airplane landed from Monaco.

The investigators transported the Armenian businessman to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation under special surveillance, where he was officially informed about the arrest. The law enforcement authorities suspect Levon Hayrapetyan of having connections with the band led by criminal authority Sergey Finagin.
