Armenian grand master Levon Aronian (2784) is the 7th in the newly published FIDE April ranking list, Panorama.am reports.

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 1, ARTSAKHPRESS: World Champion Magnus Carlsen (2851) is leading the list of the world strongest 100 chess players.

Sergej Karjakin, who made an impressive performance at the Moscow Candidates Tournament, has returned to the desirable top ten.

In the ranking of strongest 100 women chess players Armenia is represented by two chess players - Elina Danielian (2445) is the 42nd and Lilit Mkrtchian (2434) is the 49th.
