STEPANAKERT, APRIL 6, ARTSAKHPRESS: In Ohanyan’s words, Azerbaijan carried out large-scale military actions, using modern weaponry, as well as terrorists and contractors.

“Despite this, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army was able to achieve success by means of the armaments and equipment available, which were correctly used,” the Minister said, noting that the Armenian side is nevertheless inferior to the adversary’s army by its number.

At the same time, Ohanyan noted that the second program on modernization of the Armed Forces for 2016-2020 is underway.
