The first phase of negotiations on the establishment of a free-trade zone (FTZ) between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and China will be held in mid-October, in Moscow.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 5, ARTSAKHPRESS: The staff of Chairman Tigran Sargsyan of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the EAEU, told about the aforesaid to TASS news agency of Russia.
A bilateral agreement on the setting up of an FTZ between Russia and China, or the EAEU and China, may become the first phase in such an agreement.
As per the First Deputy PM of Russia, Igor Shuvalov, this document could be signed within two years.
The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
