Armenia appreciates the European Union’s consolidated and comprehensive approach over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Deputy Foreign Minister Karen Nazaryan said at the parliamentary debates of the 2017 state budget.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 3, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: “On the first day of the military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan in early April, 2016, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy issued a statement expressing concern over the reports on heavy fighting along the entire length of the line of contact and calling on immediately stop the military operations”, Karen Nazaryan said.
He added that during those days the EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, as well as the President of the European Parliament issued similar statements.
