STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 25, ARTSAKHPRESS: As Panorama.am reports, the Ermenihaber informed that the MP wanted to know what steps the Turkish government takes to prevent the hate crimes against the minority groups.

In his request Palyan has reminded of the case when some nationalists placed a black wreath in front of the office of Istanbul-based Armenian newspaper Agos.

The Armenian MP underscored that lawsuits had been filed against the Head of Istanbul branch of Nationalist Turkey party Bilal Gyokcheyurt and President of Turan Centers Organization Erjan Urchar, who were suspected of organizing the above mentioned crime, but the court had acquitted the two defendants.

Palyan has also underscored that during the last year some racist statements had been written on the walls of three Armenian schools and reminded of the acts of vandalism committed in the Asri Jewish Cemetery in Hatay and the Syriac ancient cemetery.

After presenting the above mentioned points Palyan has addressed the following three questions to the Turkish government:

1. Does your government take any measures to prevent the hate crimes against the minority groups?
2. Does the government undertake any steps to protect the offices of the minority groups?
3. Does the National Intelligence Service conduct any investigation regarding the cases of hate crimes committed against the minority groups?
