An agreement has been reached on increasing the number of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Office international observers to up to seven, at the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

STEPANAKERT, MAY 26 , ARTSAKHPRESS: Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassador Igor Popov, informed about the aforesaid to APA news agency of Azerbaijan.

In his words, both parties to the conflict agree to this change.

“However, there is no agreement on details; these include placing observers, financing their activities, and other technical issues,” added Popov.

“Along with relevant OSCE structures and representatives of the sides, Austria, which chairs the organization, is working to bring the sides to an agreement on this issue."
