STEPANAKERT, MAY 30 , ARTSAKHPRESS: Garik Grigoryan, executive director of the "Artsakh Post" company, said in an interview with
“Artsakhpress”, noting that the company has issued stamps on the 150th birth anniversary of Nikol Duman and on the May triple holidays.
"In addition, the company annually publishes stamps on Artsakh’s flora and fauna, as well as stamps representing animals registered in the Red Book. We are also planning to publish stamps on the 200th birth anniversary of Hovhannes Aivazovsky, as well as stamps dedicated to the theme of carpet weaving. During the year stamps dedicated to Monte Melkonyan, Shahen Meghryan, as well as on the 150 birth anniversary of of Karekin Hovsepian, Catholicos of Great House of Cilicia will be issued,” he said, adding that about 310 thousand samples are produced per year.
The director of “Artsakh Post” noted that they always participate in the European Postal Operators Association «PostEurop»and the annual 'Europe' stamp competitions. According to him, stamps of “Artsakhpost” are in high demand in many countries and always receive high marks from the international philatelic organizations.
"A few days ago we have received an order of 300 sheets of stamps from Germany," he said. Particularly, in 2016 we issued stamps in 14 themes with 221 thousand copies and a souvenir sheet with 7 thousand copies.
In 2014 our company received from dozens of countries 22.672 packages and parcels, in 2015- 26.400 packages and parcels, then in 2016 the number reached to 45.200,” added Grigoryan.
