US State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said Thursday that President Donald Trump’s administration has not yet made a decision on whether to cancel the US foreign aid to countries which supported the UN General Assembly resolution that slams the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel.
Trump administration to consider possible responses to UN General Assembly voting on Jerusalem
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 22, ARTSAKHPRESS:She noted that the President’s foreign policy team will discuss the potential responses to the respective voting at the General Assembly.
As reported earlier, the UN General Assembly voted 128-9 with 35 abstentions on Thursday in favor of a nonbinding resolution declaring President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital “null and void.”
Armenia also voted for the resolution.
