Snowfalls and fog have gipped some roads in the territory of Armenia as of 10:00am January 20, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies said in a statement.

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 20, ARTSAKHPRESS:According to the source, it is snowing on the roads of Gavar, Martuni, Sisian, Goris and Meghri regions.
Vardenyats pass is closed for traffic amid snowstorm and low visibility.
Fog has descended over the roads in Meghri and Sisian regions reducing visibility to 50-70 metres. Snowstorms have hit Keti and Jajur mountain passes.
Cleaning works with chemical salt and sand are underway along the roads.
All the other interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are passable, the source said.
The Roads Department of Georgia's Ministry of Infrastructures and Territorial Development told the Armenian ministry that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles as of 10:30am.
