STEPANAKERT, MAY 7, ARTSAKHPRESS:“Dmitry Medvedev signed an order on the Russian government's resignation," the statement said.
The government, in accordance with the constitution, resigned after the Russian president took office on May 7.
The agency reminds that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed that the State Duma, the lower house of Russia's parliament, consider the candidacy of Dmitry Medvedev for the post of the country's prime minister, the Kremlin said in a statement Monday.
