On June 16 an air festival will be held at Stepanakert airport, during which paragliders, balloons and planes will be raised to the air.

STEPANAKERT, MAY 15, ARTSAKHPRESS:Meri Ghazaryan, Artsakh Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures official, told ArtsakhPress about the aforesaid. She added that the aim of the event is to develop Artsakh's tourism sphere, raise awareness about the potential of Artsakh’s light aviation and to contribute to the organization of the youth’s leisure time and daily routine.
She informed that from 2 pm a show with the participation of over six planes and balloons will be launched. From 5.30 pm onwards, those present will have the opportunity to take paraglider, hot air balloon or plane rides.
“The air festival will be accompanied with music by famous DJs. Starting from 6.30 pm, a concert will be given, and from 9 pm there will be a party. An entrance ticket costs 2000 AMD. In Stepanakert they can be obtained from the Tourist Information Center (the phone number is 097 399 175), and in Yerevan from the office of Yell Extreme Park (phone number: 010 030). In addition, tickets can be ordered online through tomsarkgh.am,’’ Meri Ghazaryan noted and added that it will be the second time the festival has been held in Artsakh.
To note, the air festival is being organized with the joint efforts of the Artsakh Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures, the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism as well as Yell Extreme Park, Skyball and SKY CLUB-paragliding in Armenia.
