STEPANAKERT, MAY 19, ARTSAKHPRESS:As the Information and Public Relations Department of the State Minister’s staff informs, the delegation of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, headed by executive director Ara Vardanyan, was present at the opening ceremony of the multifunctional community center. The center was built with the joint efforts of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund and the Artsakh government.

The State Minister thanked the benefactors for their support and added that Getavan’s population was in need of a community center. Arayik Harutyunyan noted that both Getavan and other settlements on the Vardenis-Martakert highway that have been recently put into operation have made noticeable progress. The government will continue to focus on the development of the region.

“I am very glad that our compatriots from the diaspora have important participation in the great part of Artsakh development projects. This support is not only in the form of financial investments but also in the form of visits, moral and professional support,’’ Arayik Harutyunyan said.

Executive director of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, Ara Vardanyan, thanked the Artaskh government for its efficient cooperation. He noted that the objective of the visit was to get the benefactors acquainted with the projects that are being implemented in various settlements of Artsakh by the means of the fund.

To note, the community center of Getavan has a village hall, a hall for ceremonies, a library and a computer room. The building has been furnished and has a heating and ventilation system. Previously, the village hall used to be located in one of the school’s classrooms.
