About seventy pupils and teachers headed by Aline Duryan, director of the Rose and Alex Pilibos national high school of Los Angeles, have arrived in Artsakh. They showed financial support for the implementation of projects directed at the development of sport.
Group of Los Angeles high school students brought its yearly financial support to Artsakh
STEPANAKERT, MAY 24, ARTSAKHPRESS:Aline Duryan gave the money gathered by the high school's pupils to the Artsakh Ministry of Education, Science and Sport deputy chief of staff, Shavarsh Sargsyan.
Aline Duryan told ArtsakhPress that together with that year's 11th grade students, they visit Artsakh and Armenia every year to carry out various charitable programs.
''At the pupils' initiative, this time the fundraising will be directed to the repair and improvement works of the mini football field on Stepanakert's Andranik Ozanyan street, '' the high school's director said.
Speaking of other projects being carried out in Artsakh, she informed that they also provide financial support to the families who suffered casualties of the April four-day war. The process has been launched.
The director said that their charitable projects will be carried out on a yearly basis.
