Doctors from Yerevan perform free operations in Stepanakert

Headed by Edgar Hayrapetyan, a plastic surgeon in Armenia’s Erebuni medical center, a group of doctors arrived in Stepanakert to perform free operations on the nose and ear in Artsakh’s Republican Medical Center.

Doctors from Yerevan perform free operations in Stepanakert

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: Doctors have already performed about 30 operations beginning June 9. There are plans to perform 20 more operations until June 18.

Edgar Hayrapetyan said that the aim of their visit is to perform operations with their Artsakh colleagues. Jointly performed operations will help Artsakh specialists to improve. There will be an exchange of experience and they will learn new skills.

According to the doctor, about 80 percent of Artsakh’s population has problems with the way their noses look. In particular, young girls want to correct imperfections of their noses.
