STEPANAKERT, JUNE 20, ARTSAKHPRESS: “After discussions with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Tashir Group of Companies has decided to provide a partial compensation for energy consumption to socially insecure families in the amount of 10 drams for each 1 kilowatt-hours of consumed electricity from July 1,” the group said in a statement, Panorama reports.

The company added the compensation will be made for a monthly threshold of up to 250 kilowatt-hours.

It will be provided from the personal funds of Tashir Group and is expected to cover some 25-30 percent of the families’ energy costs.

“Supporting socially insecure groups is among the priorities of the company's social programs. The adopted decision is the logical continuation of the program implemented back in 2015-2016,” the statement said.
