State Minister visits Martakert region, Mataghis and Talish communities

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 29, ARTSAKHPRESS: As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh State Minister's staff informs, in Martakert regional administration the Minister of State chaired a working consultation. During the consultation, head of the administration, Edgar Harutyunyan, and responsible officials of several spheres reported on current agricultural works, organization of firefighting measures in fields and urban projects being carried out through financing of the state in the region. Participants reflected upon land users affected by hail. Grigory Martirosyan reassured that they will receive financial compensation from the state.

In Mataghis, the State Minister was in ''Artsakh HPP'' OJSC's ''Mataghis-1'' plant's territory. There, he got familiarized with the power plant's work. During his tour, Grigory Martirosyan also visited the fish breeding enterprise for black caviar production built by ''Golden-fish-k'' company through foreign investment in Mataghis.

Heading from Mataghis to Talsih, the Minister of State observed the current situation of the highway that connects the two settlements. In the village, he also got familiarized with construction and renovation works being carried out through the state support and the ''Hayastan'' All-Armenian Fund. Head of the regional administration and mayor of Talish presented Grigory Martirosyan the process of works aimed at consistent restoration of the village almost completely ruined as a result of four-day April war in 2016, as well as at improvement of social and household conditions of villagers now living in different places.

Urban Minister, Karen Shahramanyan, and Minister of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures, Levon Grigoryan, accompanied the State Minister during his visit.
