On Monday, ''Stepanakert Cup'' open championship of sport dances festival being carried out at the initiative of Artsakh’s ''Union of Dance and Sport Dances'' social organization was held in Stepanakert School No 6.
''Stepanakert Cup'' championship of sport dances festival takes place
STEPANAKERT, JULY 3, ARTSAKHPRESS: As ArtsakhPress correspondent informed, dancers from Russia's Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Ukraine's Kiev, Moldova's Kishinev, Poland's Lublin, Georgia's Zugdidi, US' Glendale, Iran's Tehran and Armenia's Yerevan, Gyumri, Armavir and Etchmiadzin cities partook in the sport dances festival.
On July 1, the dancers gave a charitable concert in Stepanakert Culture and Youth Palace. The entire profit from the concert was transferred to the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center in Stepanakert. 
Welcoming those present, president of the all-Armenian council of Dance and Sport Dances, Marianna Mamyan, said that the event aims at developing sports and tourism through cultural projects.
During the event the participants presented various dances.
Present at the festival were Artsakh Minister of Education, Science and Sport, Narine Aghabalyan, representatives of the sphere and guests. 
To note, ''Karabakh Telecom'' CJSC is the main sponsor of the festival. Artsakh Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, and Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism Ministry, ''Artsakh HPP'' company, supported the organization of the project. Artsakh's Public television was the information sponsor.
