On July 9, Artsakh Minister of State, Grigory Martirosyan, received head of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Armenia office, Vazgen Yakubyan, executive director, Talar Kazanjian, and AGBU Artsakh representative, Sasun Baghdasaryan.

STEPANAKERT, JULY 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh State Minister’s staff informed, greeting the guests, Grigory Martirosyan thanked AGBU for the years of close cooperation with Artsakh. The State Minister highly praised the great cultural, educational, humanitarian and social-economic contribution of the union. The Minister of State said that the government is ready to actively support the implementation and expansion of AGBU projects. In addition, Grigory Martirosyan suggested to pay special attention to the problem of women’s occupation in rural areas.
In his turn, head of the AGBU Armenia office, Vazgen Yakubyan, said that taking into consideration the importance of the project the union will take steps aimed at its fulfillment.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged thoughts on state projects being implemented in other spheres of economy. They discussed possibilities of AGBU’s participation in these projects.
