An alternative road for the Stepanakert-Nngi-Martuni highway has been constructed, Artsakh ministry of urban development informed ArtsakhPress.

Stepanakert-Nngi-Martuni highway to have alternative

STEPANAKERT, JULY 11, ARTSAKHPRESS: The ministry said that there is a landslide danger in Martuni's Nngi community. After the rains of June the road became even worse.

As the source informed, minister of urban development, Karen Shahramanyan, instructed to construct a 2.5 km long alternative road in the left part of the highway. First deputy minister of urban development, Pavel Najaryan, said that the road will be asphalted once it's included in this year's program.

To note, specialists have explored the geological structure of the terrain. Currently design documents are being developed.
