Third Artsakh-Armenia road may become interstate highway, Artsakh's urban development minister informs
STEPANAKERT, JULY 12, ARTSAKHPRESS: The two officials spoke about construction, preservation and usage of roads, Artsakh urban development ministry informed ArtsakhPress. Karen Shahramanyan presented the current situation of the roads. He expressed hope that cooperation with Armenian colleagues will be further deepened and they will be able to jointly solve the sphere's existing problems.
As the source informs, the urban minister noted that there are problems both with interstate and state roads.
The third road connecting Artsakh to Armenia may become Kovsakan-Mijnavan-Kapan-Goris interstate highway. Karen Shahramanyan presented the strategic importance of a third road. Artsakh's southern part (the nearby territory of the Araks river) and Armenia's Syunik province would be able to trade more easily and more quickly.
