STEPANAKERT, JULY 20, ARTSAKHPRESS: The detention was carried out in Istanbul on July 4, the paper said.

According to Daily Sabah, one of the detainees was a daughter of Asu Dudurkayev, a former head of the Federal Migration Service’s department in Chechnya. She is also the wife of Abu Omar al-Shishani, a senior IS commander.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov sacked Dudurkayev in November 2013 over his daughter’s ties with terrorists in Syria.
