STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 9ARTSAKHPRESS:  As "Artsakhpress"reports that Baroness Caroline Cox was also present at the event.

Vardan Tadevosyan, the executive director of the center, said in his speech that the construction of the center was a big challenge both for the Baroness and him, as they were not sure that the idea would have success.

''There were many people with disabilities in Artsakh as a result of the Artsakh War. Despite the great need, there was not a rehabilitation center which would have an appropriate treatment program for the people with disabilities.
The initiative of rehabilitation center was Baroness Caroline Cox’s as being a former nurse she was good to see the need for it. In 1998 the foundation of the center was started,'' he said, noting that the center's specialists have several professions, and very often specialists from abroad are invited to organize trainings with the center's specialists.
Baroness Caroline Cox said; ''Today is a historic day for me and a great honor to be present at the event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the center.  I was with you during the tremendous war you have lived. When I talk about Artsakh I always mention that Artakh people are the leaders of freedom and faith.
I would like to emphasize that this center is well-known throughout the world for excellently carrying out its mission over the years, "she said.

C. Cox handed certificate to the director of the center, V. Tadevosyan, for developing the center and carrying out the mission with honor.

The event was also attended by the NA Speaker of the Republic of Artsakh Ashot Ghulyan, Minister of Healthcare Arayik Baghryan, Minister of Education, Science and Sport Narine Aghabalyan and others.
