STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 10, ARTSAKHPRESS: Their godfather was Ashot Sargsyan, head of the National Minorities and Religious Affairs Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Artsakh.
Mesrop Priest Khunoyan, the spiritual pastor of the Askeran region and Director of the Center for Christian Awareness and Education of the Artsakh Diocese told "Artsakhpress" that baptism plays great role in life. We will continue to baptize residents in the Askeran region, making them true Christian Armenians.
All baptized people received crosses from Surb Astvatsatsin Church of Askeran.
At the end of the celebration, Mesrob Priest Khunoyan congratulated new baptized ones on their spiritual birth, and advised always walk in the light of the Lord.
