STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 17, ARTSAKHPRESS: The winners were rewarded with diplomas and monetary awards. Minister of Education, Science and Sport Narine Aghabalyan congratulating on the day said that the Day of Physical Education is celebrated in the republic for the eighth time and has become a beautiful tradition in our everyday life.
"This festive day brings together all athletes and sportsmen, as well as citizens who prefer a healthy lifestyle. Head of the Sport Department of the Artsakh Ministry of Education, Science and Sport Ashot Danielyan said that besides the competition, the event itself aims to propagate a healthy lifestyle.
Pupils from all schools of Stepanakert are taking part in the cycling on their bicycles. It should be noted that every year the number of pupils interested in sports increases, as well as their achievements,"he added.
This year the number of girls participating in the competition has increased as compared to the previous year.
