STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 17ARTSAKHPRESS:  On September 17 an auditorium after Andrey Nuykin, one of the founders and inspirers of the "Karabagh" Russian Intelligentsia Committee was opened in Artsakh State University.
The honor of opening the auditorium was given to Nune Arakelyan, the Head of the Department of the Russian Language, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor and Nuykin's son Pavel Andreievich. As ArtsakhPress report, Nune Arakelyan in her opening speech said that Andrey Nuykin as one of the founders and inspirers of ''Karabakh''committee, Andrey Nuykin enjoys respect in Artsakh.
NA Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan highlighted the importance of opening the auditorium in Artsakh State University. ''Being a true patriot and democrat, Nuiykin was actively defending the aspiration of the Armenian people to live freely and independently in their own soil. He made a tangible contribution to the objective and fair coverage of the Karabakh cause, presenting to the world the facts of gross violations of human rights committed by Azerbaijan.

Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artakh Narine Aghabalyan congratulated on the opening of the auditorium and highlighted the importance of such an initiative, noting that the people of Artsakh always remember with great respect and gratitude the Russian intellectual.
Pavel Nuykin told how intellectuals in Moscow, after the Moscow-Yerevan-Stepanakert flight in February 1991, for the first time witnessed the punitive actions of the USSR troops and the Azerbaijani OMON. "All those who supported the people of Artsakh in their struggle were subjected to persecution by the OMON units.

Returning Moscow, the members of the Committee, writers Nuykin, Gaidar, Oskotski, Chernichenko, Galina Nuykina founded the "Karabakh" committee,called "KRIK", " he added. Then expressed his gratitude for such initation and said that it is the best demonstration of gratitude.
