"Wedding in the Rear" Play dedicated to April War heroes premieres in Stepanakert

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 18ARTSAKHPRESS:  The play centers around a story of a family symbolizing the Armenian people with its past, present, and future. The family is about to mark a wedding ceremony of the son, as the April war in Artsakh starts, crushing the hopes for a new beginning, a new family and generation. People get together and go to the frontline to fight for their future and the right to life.
As the theater director Tigran Virabyan informed , till April 2016, with the film director, Lyudvig Harutyunyan, they were thinking about putting a play dedicated to the Artsakh liberation struggle, but the recent tragic events forced them to concentrate on the April four-day war.
"We started the play with the playwright Anahit Aghasaryan. The playwright worked with the theater's creative team, saw the characters. It was very difficult for us to play in Artsakh.
When you play in Yerevan, Gyumri or any other city, the play is a story for you, but in Artsakh it is a lifestyle. The problems raised in the play are demands of the Armenian and Artsakh people. We want to live in peace in our country, " said Virabyan.

We will go to Lebanon with a presentation, and in February, we will have a one-month tour in the United States and Canada.
