STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 22ARTSAKHPRESS: As "Artsakhpress" reports, on the occasion of Stepanakert Day, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Artsakh Marat Musayelyan, Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Artsakh National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, other high state officials and guests laid flowers and wreaths at the monument to Stepan Shahumyan.
Exhibition-sale was held at Stepanakert's Central Park after Stepan Shahumyan, summarizing the results of the photo contest "My Favorite Stepanakert.''
 
Stepanakert Mayor Suren Grigoryan congratulated on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the renaming of the city and said: ''The town was renamed in 1923. During these years, Stepanakert has taken a new breath and spirit. It has become a modern capital with its parks, beautiful residential buildings, newly-built districts, cultural centers, educational complexes. But Stepanakert is more beautiful with its creative and ambitious residents.
With the support of the Artsakh authorities, the municipality is doing everything to ensure the progress and development of Stepanakert.''
Stepanakert's Deputy Mayor Armen Hakobyan in an interview with ''Artsakhpress'' informed: ''Sanda Wushu Open Championship to be held in Stepanakert N6 School. We will also visit Stepanakert's oldest citizens, Maternal and Child Health Center, as well as wedding ceremonies, to congratulate the newlyweds, "said Hakobyan.
The events will conclude with a festive concert in Stepanakert Culture and Youth Palace.
