STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 4, ARTSAKHPRESS: As a result of the elections, Armen Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sport of Artsakh Republic, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of Supreme Certifying Committee (SCC) of Armenia was elected rector of Artsakh State University.
In an interview with ArtsakhPress Armen Sargsyan noted:
''In my pre-election program, I have included 10 directions from admission to the university up to accreditation. I presented a realistic project.

In each direction, I have outlined the main provisions that should be implemented as a result of our work. It is necessary to organize admissions to the university in the way that the number of future specialists corresponds to the labor market and the level of development of different spheres of the country.

Over the last 50 years, and especially in recent years, an innovative foundation has been created in the university, thus basing on it, will be possible to ensure the continuous development of the university. The Artsakh State University should develop only through cooperation, "said Armen Sargsyan.

Congratulating the newly elected rector, Grigory Martirosyan, Chairman of the Council of the Artsakh State University, said that he is convinced that Armen Sargsyan will be able to implement all the programs that are envisaged.
"The government of the Artsakh Republic will support the implementation of the reforms of the Artsakh State University thus strengthening the further development and prosperity of the university," Martirosyan concluded.
