STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: All the regions of Artsakh, as well as a number of companies of the Republic of Artsakh and the Armenia took out for sale their products.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan blessed the harvest.

Afterwards, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan took a walk along the pavilions, got introduced with the products presented by the regions and private entrepreneurs, held conversations with the participants about problems they faced.


Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh, Vilen Avetisyan said the event is being organized for the 8th time.

"This year more participants are involved. More than 1000 pavilions were presented as compared to last year's 850.


Within the framework of the event different competitions will be organized with the following nominations: '' Best region'', ''Best Reprocessing Company'', Best Cultural Performance "and" The Lowest Price''. The last nomination has been added this year.Three pavilions with the lowest prices will be rewarded by expensive gifts'' said V. Avetisyan.


Eduard Barseghyan, Deputy Head of Martouni Regional Administration, said that 35 communities of the region have presented 28 pavilions.
''Compared to last year, this year the number of participants from Martuni region has increased. We tried to sell the products at lower prices. The agricultural year was favorable. The festival is a very effective platform that allows farmers and producers to sell their products," said Barseghyan.

Levon Movsisyan, head of Kashunik community of Kashatagh region, said that this year they also presented kiwano and physalisfrom subtropical fruits.

"These are annual plants that are grown in our community. We have brought the seeds from the outside. Compared with last year, this year we have introduced more, as orders have increased. We also presented quince, pomegranate, persimmon, some types of a pear and other products," Movsisyan added.


During the trade fair the Armenian culture has also been presented in its wide variety.

Artsakh NA Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, State Minister Grigory Martirosyan, officials, guests attended the event.
