STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: Head of Martakert regional administration Edgar Harutyunyan told "Artsakhpress", noting that they have presented about 33 pavilions. The Martakert region presented agricultural products, different types of fruits, including kiwi, meat and alcoholic drinks, which were sold lower than the market price.

E. Harutyunyan noted that the "Harvest Holiday" is a special celebration for the people. ''Tourists from different countries of the world got acquainted with our culture, the harvest and the goods of Artsakh, as well as the hospitality of the people of Artsakh,'' added Harutyunyan.
Talking about this year's sowing, E. Harutyunyan said: "This year we have carried out 2882 hectares of spring sowing , including corn, spelt, pea, sunflower, buckwheat crops. The residents of the region do not have problems with the sale of the products. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, crop yield indices were relatively low as compared to last year results. Artsakh Republic Goverment gave compensation to those land users, whose sowing areas were hailed. He informed that there are 18 hectares of vineyards in the region, from which they have gathered in 120 tons of harvest.

"There are 70 hectares of pomegranate orchard, the average crop yield of which is 30-35cents. We also have 5.5 hectares of plum, peach, and apricot. In the region's New Seysulan community, a small amount of kiwifruit is grown from subtropical fruits. If this subtropical fruit is in demand, we will try to grow more kiwis, "said the head of the regional administration.
