He informed that the community has 170 residents. They are mainly engaged in growing vegetables, cattle-breeding and gardening.
"There are 80 neat and 150 small cattle, 40 heads of pigs and 1500 birds in the community. The village has 103 hectares of privatized arable land, of which only 30 hectares are used for sowing only. This year, we have received 22-23 tons of wheat and barley, "he said.
Garush Sargsyan said that the school of the community 32 pupils. The school was founded in 1909 and in 2005 was renovated by the Armenian Educational Foundation donators Hagop and Mira Shirvanian. The community has 2 pre-school children.
''We have a two-storey village building; there is also aid station. In 2002, a two-storey hall for 300 people was built in the village with state funds, part of which was allocated to the club. The village has 24-hour water supply and the internet is accessible to the community,’' he said.
Touching upon other community issues, the mayor said that Kagharts is still not gasified. Inter-village roads are not in good condition. According to the state program this year in the village it is planned to carry out paving works.
