STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 19, ARTSAKHPRESS: During my concert I promised to be in Armenia and Artsakh each year with concert programs.
In an interview with "Artsakhpress", Artistic Director of "Kantegh" and "Taron" Ashugh Choir of Los Angeles, US Gevorg Chakmanyan, who is in Stepanakert, said that he have kept his promise. On October 14, he gave a solo concert in Yerevan.
Before coming to Armenia, I have planned to visit Artsakh and give a concert in Stepankert on October 20.

Many years ago I was in Artsakh, but I did not manage to see the sights of Artsakh. This time I have a great desire and hope that I will fully enjoy Artsakh, be in historical and cultural places.

To our request why he decided to dedicate the concert to the commemoration of soldiers fallen in Artakh Liberation War, our interlocutor said that he has felt pain of this loss when his 19-year-old brother died in the war in 1993. From that day G. Chakmanyan considers visits to families of the figters fallen in Artsakh War and, generally, visits to soldiers, a peculiar debt.
