STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 24, ARTSAKHPRESS: Siobhan Nash-Marshall is one of the first who tried to prove that the genocide of the Armenian and other people committed by the Young Turks and its denial by the Turkish Republic are not various criminal acts. Denial is the continuation of genocide.
The book was published by the decision of the Academic Council of the Artsakh State University.

As "Artsakhpress" reporter, Minister of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism, Lernik Hovhannisyan delivered an opening speech at the event.

He said that Siobhan Nash-Marshall deals with Genocide issues as well as a great deal of work conducts in the preservation of Christian culture in the Middle East.

"The book is not only about the denial of the Armenian genocide, but also about indigenous peoples, Greeks, Assyrians and other nations living in the Ottoman Empire and later in the Republic of Turkey. The author also points out how to prevent new genocides that still continue, "said L. Hovhannisyan and noted that Turkey is pursuing the same genocidal policy today.
Welcoming the attendees, Siobhan Nash-Marshall expressed her gratitude for warm welcome. "My book tells about the most horrible events with the Armenian people, about the Genocide. Unlike many historians, I do not think that the Armenian Genocide started in 1915 and ended in 1923. I also do not think that it concerns only Armenians. The Armenian Genocide was the beginning of the terrible wave of devastations .Studying the history of the Genocide, I consider it started in 1856. The genocide did not stop because the stolen Armenian lands have been occupied. History has been falsified. In my opinion, this is also genocide. You, Armenians, have managed to create a state, to confront all the difficulties, denying genocide policy.
Not coincidentally, I have organized the presentation of my book in Artsakh ".

Distinguished Italian writer of Armenian descent Antonia Arslanstate officials, writers and others were present at the presentation.
