STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 16, ARTSAKHPRESS: As ''Artsakhpress'' reports, students were awarded with diplomas, books and monetary prizes.
Congratulating the students on the occasion, rector of the Artsakh State University, Armen Sargsyan said that the role of a student with stable values and attitudes is important for the development of our country.
The rector of the university also touched upon the upcoming programs. In particular, only two days ago President of Haigazian University in Beirut, Paul Haydostian visited Artsakh State University. According to the agreement reached with him in the next academic year one student from the ArSU will study for one semester in Beirut free of charge.
A similar arrangement was reached with the dean of the YSU Faculty of Law, academician Gagik Ghazinyan, according to which one student from the ArSU semester for free and a student from YSU Faculty of Law will study at Artsakh State University.
Touching upon the accreditation of the university, the rector noted that the university will be included in the international network.
