On November 17, Artsakh Republic State Minister Grigory Martirosyan visited Karmir Shuka (Red Market) community of Martuni region, where he got acquainted with a number of projects being implemented with public and private funding and held a working consultation with community leaders.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 18, ARTSAKHPRESS: Grigory Martirosyan visited the “Rapeseed’’ Vegetable Oil Plant. Accompanied by the owner of the plant he got acquainted with the production process of the plant.
G. Martirosyan highly appreciated the role of the factory in the development of processing industry in Artsakh and in particular in the realization of local raw materials. He noted that the government is ready to support the activities of such enterprises that are strategically important in the provision of public food safety.
Afterwards, Martirosyan attended the construction site of multi-apartment buildings built by "Rafo" LLC and funded by the Artsakh Investment Fund and got acquainted with the construction process.
The project envisages construction of four-storey buildings with basement floors, with 32 apartments. The new district will have a renovated and illuminated yard, a playground, a park, a green zone and a parking lot.
The minister emphasized the priority of construction of new apartments in rural communities, noting that in the coming year the government will launch a new program.
"All our compatriots, who will build a new home in the village, will receive a loan at one percent interest rate through the Artsakh Investment Fund.
During the visit, the State Minister visited the Karmir Shuka secondary school where he got acquainted with the conditions of the newly built school building, talked with members of the teaching staff and pupils. Martirosyan promised that the unfinished construction works of the gym will be restarted soon. He also got acquainted with the building conditions of the community, the former kindergarten and the operating medical center.
Afterwards with the participation of more than a dozen community leaders of sub-region, a working consultation was held where issues of community significance were discussed, as well as the State Minister was reported on current agricultural activities being carried out in the sub-region.
Speaking about state support programs, Martirosyan urged community leaders to inform the residents as soon as possible. At the meeting,Director of Artsakh Investment Fund Qajik Khachatryan and Director of Rural and Agricultural Support Fund Tigran Tsatryan made speeches on the spheres.
At the end of the meeting the State Minister answered the questions of community leaders.
During the visit, Grigory Martirosyan was accompanied by Mher Ohanyan, head of Martuni regional administration.
