There will be no progress in the negotiation process as long as there is no trust between the parties. Shavarsh Kocharyan

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 30, ARTSAKHPRESS:Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan said in an interview with "Artsakhpress", noting that every discussion in this respect is very important and inspirational.

He noted that during the meeting with the Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan they discussed different issues.

Speaking about the negotiation process, Sh. Kocharyan said: "We should differentiate two platforms of negotiations. It is also the mission of the three co-chairs. The first- to reach an agreement, which does not come true over the years because Azerbaijan has put the question in this way- everything or nothing. The result is nothing.

The second platform- given the fact that the three co-chairing countries are permanent members of the UN Security Council, no military action should be permitted. These two platforms are closely connected. There will be no progress in the negotiation process as long as there is no trust between the parties.

I can not say what agenda the next meeting will have, but the trust between the parties is necessary. The three states are co-chair countries of the Minsk Group and Artsakh Republic President’s visit to these countries is not accidental. That's why Baku is always complaining.
