On December 24, Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan convened an enlarged session of the governmental commission to discuss the preparatory work for the European Football Championship to be held by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) on June 4-15, 2019 in the Republic of Artsakh.

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 24, ARTSAKHPRESS: The State Minister noted that the prestigious sports event is a good opportunity for a large number of foreign tourists and journalists to visit Artsakh, so all efforts should be made to hold the event in a proper way.
During the meeting the ministries, as well as the representative of the Football Federation of the Republic of Artsakh delivered reports. Particularly it has been mentioned that in these days in capital Stepanakert, Martakert, Askeran and Martuni regional centers, reconstruction works of stadiums are being actively carried out by state and charitable means.
During the meeting a number of issues were discussed such as making of advertising video clips and informational materials about the championship, providing visitors with hotels and transport means, etc.
There were also suggestions for the involvement of international specialized organizations in organizing the event.
The State Minister noted that he is satisfied with the done works, noting that next year the committee will continue to work with the same intensity.
